- Beekeeper suit included — children’s sizes up to 3XL
- You really go into the apiary, not just watch from afar
- Honey, pollen and mead tasting to finish
- Small groups and explanations adapted for children

2 minutes to see what the visit is like.
What we’ll do, step by step
Four moments, three hours and no rush.

The place
Arrival at La Nostra Mel, where beekeeping comes to life in the countryside of La Segarra. Enjoy the landscape and an introduction to the world of bees.

The theory
Audiovisual presentation: the story of a small beekeeper, the tools we use, why pollination matters and the main enemies of bees.

The practice
Wearing a beekeeper suit you’ll enter the apiary: watch the bees up close, see how the colony works, take out a honeycomb frame and even touch them.

The products
To finish, we answer all your questions and, of course, you taste our honey and other bee products. Enjoy!
You’ll taste all our honeys
To finish the visit, a tasting of all our products: every honey, the pollen, the mead… everything we make.
From the field to the jar
We are producers and packers. You’ll see the whole process: from the honeycomb we take out of the hive to the jar you take home, with only the steps that are truly needed.

Frequently asked questions
How do booking and payment work?
Choose the Saturday, tell us how many adults and children are coming and pay securely by card. You’ll then receive a confirmation email with all the details.
Your place is held once payment is completed: if payment isn’t finished, the booking is cancelled automatically after a few minutes and the places become free again.
A few days before the visit we’ll send you a WhatsApp with more information and some tips.
Is it safe to get close to the bees?
Yes. During the visit we wear beekeeper suits and follow all safety measures, so you can get close to the bees with total peace of mind.
Over the years thousands of people have done the experience and stings are extremely rare. Feeling a bit nervous is completely normal: most visitors arrive with the same doubt and discover the bees are much calmer than they imagined.
From what age can children come?
From 3 years old. We don’t recommend the visit for children under 3: it would expose them to an unnecessary risk. From that age they can wear the beekeeper suit and enter the apiary comfortably.
If a child prefers not to go into the apiary, they can stay at the facilities with a responsible adult and still take part in the rest of the experience, like the honey tasting.
Do you have large beekeeper suits?
Yes. We have beekeeper suits in several sizes, including large sizes up to 3XL. They fit different body types comfortably, and so far everyone who has come has found a suitable size.
What should I wear or bring?
Just bring closed shoes and long white socks, thick ones if possible. We provide everything else (beekeeper suit, protection…).
Please avoid strong perfumes or deodorants on the day of the visit, as strong smells can affect the bees’ behaviour.
Can I take photos or videos during the visit?
Yes, and it’s one of the parts visitors love most. You can take photos and videos freely and take home some very special pictures.
We’ll tell you the best moment to take them safely, and most people leave with a unique photo of the experience.
Do you have a free visit ticket?
To use it for your booking, follow these steps:
- Choose your Saturday and say how many adults and children are coming.
- Tick «We have free tickets» and say how many you have. Each ticket is valid for 1 person.
- Confirm and pay only the difference. If everyone has a ticket, the booking is free and confirmed straight away.
Important: bring the physical ticket on the day of the visit. Without it, you’ll have to pay the entrance fee on site.
